Our environmental designs for CMA Fest went without a hitch, and we cooked up a brand refresh for The Egg & I Restaurants. Summer 2016 at ST8MNT has been a formative season in our stride to push creative limits. We broke a sweat enduring the scorching Nashville heat and ready to stay cool through the Fall. NEW FACES: THE NEW PRESS ARRIVALS
We are pleased to announce the addition of 2 collaborative new faces to the ST8MNT creative team.
KATE BALCH is an Account Manager and the newest member to the ST8MNT brand development team. She works in direct and daily contact with each and every client to guide their needs, to direct their requirements, and to make sure all of their objectives are met throughout the entire lifecycle of the creative process.
Kate’s marketing career began at Tymel Promotional Solutions, a boutique marketing firm based out Ambler, Pennsylvania. She later advanced to Director of Marketing and Leasing Operations for the Pennmark Management Company in Plymouth Meeting, PA where she was an instrumental presence in the material design and implementation of client-based marketing solutions.
Most recently she served as a Digital Strategist at Bytes of Knowledge in Nashville, TN working hand-in-hand with clients to develop their digital strategies and enhance their own customer relationships. Her clients there have included Logan’s Roadhouse, The NBC Television Network, Sprouts Children’s Network and Vanderbilt University.
Kate is a graduate of Lock Haven University in Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication and minors in both Fine Arts and Spanish. Originally from Philadelphia, PA, she currently lives in South Nashville with her husband Chris and their two dogs – Rigby and Opie.
Scott Hughes is the new Head of Business Development at ST8MNT. To put it in the clearest way possible, Scott’s job is to grow the business.
Scott brings 20+ years of experience and innovation as a digital media executive. He co-founded digital music startup PassAlong Networks, an early digital music download service (first partners were eBay and Proctor and Gamble). Scott was responsible for business development, strategy and label relations (he licensed all 3 (then 5) major label deals personally.
Prior to that, he served as Senior Vice President of Strategy and New Media at EMI’s Gospel division where he co-created and ran the Wow brand (20+ platinum albums, $200MM+ in sales) and led innovation online with the creation of the first streaming service (Streamwaves) and first download service (LiquidAudio/DownloadiItFirst.com).
For the past 7 years he has been running The Next Agency serving clients such as Glen Campbell: I’ll Be Me, The Ron Blue Institute at Indiana Wesleyan University, MII and EGM. He has also been acting CEO of fashion brand Kayce Hughes where he grew the company 400% in three years, took the company from being in the red to in the black, and opened up new channels of growth including retail boutiques.
Scott is a graduate of Baylor University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Originally from Greenwich, CT, he currently lives in Green Hills, TN with his wife Kayce and their seven children.
THE EGG & I RESTAURANTS: BRANDING BREAKFAST AND LUNCH THE MOST EGGS-CELLENT WAY
We have been completing the Egg & I rebrand, redesigning menus, handling their marketing campaigns and instore promos. Most recently we designed, developed and launched their new web site.
Our team enjoyed working together to reinvent the Egg & I brand into something more refined, warm & inviting. Egg & I’s new rollout of branded materials (both digital and printed) give a nostalgic vibe of comfort food and familiarity, elevating the brand experience as a whole.
THE VAULT: AN EVENTFUL NEW SPACE
We are running a 15% OFF STUDIO RENTAL Vault Grand Opening promo. Now through the end of September, we are offering 15% off our studio rental rates for first-time users. The Vault rents out full and half days for photo and video shoots, audio rehearsals and showcases, speakers, meetings and trainings. Keep up with what’s going on in the Vault.
