What do you do when 80% of festival goers are visiting your site on mobile devices?
You focus first and foremost on mobile, and build up from there. That’s just what we did with the Watershed Festival website for Live Nation. Not only did this approach deliver more ‘happy’ factor to attendees, it improved analytics numbers by leaps in bounds.

On launch day, as compared to 2015 numbers, we saw an increase of +5,069 unique visitors and +122,462 pageviews

But wait, there’s more. Not only did Live Nation see an increase in the numbers, but there was also a significant drop in bounces. In 2015, on launch day, there was a 46% bounce rate. In 2016 this dropped to 27%.

At the end of the day, literally, users viewed on average 1.21 more pages and the average session duration increased from 2:19 minutes to 2:55 minutes. Now THAT’S a good day.
