ST8MNT had a blast working with REACH to brand the Rock Your Run activation in 21 cities for Toyota’s sponsorship of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series.
ST8MNT began by exploring two different directions that would capture the energy of the marathon events, compliment the Toyota brand and pull attendees into Toyota’s activations. We worked with Reach to develop the creative for Toyota’s finish line footprint, and expo footprint inside the event convention areas. The winning moodboard below illustrates the fun, sporty and geometric direction.
Two key art directions for the brand activation
Fun & Energetic, “Rock Your Run” is a surreal step into a whimsical fast moving space of running and music. The geometric look and feel will be carried throughout all design pieces utilizing runners, street scenes, elements and abstract geometric shapes and lines.
Inspired by the pulse of music and the energy of the run is “Rock Hard. Run Hard.” This direction emanates light and movement through city streets. Additional design elements include images of instruments and runners streaked with lights, glow and energy fragments.
